Our flagship weekday Nature-immersion program

Forest School is the program that kickstarted Wilding Education’s journey and provides the most immersive experiences we have to offer. Classes meet at Carkeek Park, from 8:30am to 3:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Children ages 4 to 12 have the opportunity to explore their wildness through games, stories, survival skills, songs, hands-on projects, outdoor exploration, and much more. For the 2023-24 school year, we will continue to offer our usual three days a week AND are open to expanding into more days and locations if enough interest is expressed. Not all class days are required in order to participate- we do have students enrolled in only 1-2 days per week. We welcome you to join in whatever capacity you are able and will continue to accommodate our growing community as best we can.

"Our daughter has been a part of Wilding Education for over six months. She’s learning essential wilderness skills and how to be kind and responsible in nature. Storm has created a safe and supportive environment that allows her to be herself. Her teachers are caring, creative, and highly skilled in working with kids. They are also very engaging and communicative about the happenings at school. We are so very grateful to have this educational opportunity."
