Aidan O’Connor.

Aidan was born in Japan and has spent the majority of his life exploring the world beyond and learning from cultural immersion. Games, music, travel, philosophy, and the great outdoors are his biggest passions, and he enjoys the challenge of weaving all of these elements into impactful and empowering educational programs.

In various capacities over the past several years Aidan has worked outdoors with children. In addition to being a lead instructor in many Wilderness Awareness School programs since moving to Washington, he also designed and led outdoor education/creative writing classes through the Frog Hollow School during the Covid-19 outbreak. In 2021, he spent seven months working with children in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, bringing games, outdoor skills, English classes, and permaculture workshops. Additionally, he has worked as a private instructor of guitar, piano, and ukulele for over 10 years.

From farming in the Himalayas to bartending in Bangkok, from repairing sailboats in Sweden to working with equestrian therapy in Lithuania, or even from getting stranded in a bathtub in the Atlantic ocean to being attacked by monkeys in Indonesia, chances are that Aidan has an interesting and inspiring story to share with you.
